John Ridge originally opposed the removal of the Cherokee, on the false belief that the Federal Government would honor their previous treaties with the Cherokee. After meeting with President Andrew Jackson, and being informed that the Federal Government (despite the court ruling) would not honor the previous treaty, or protect the Cherokee - Ridge switched sides and advocated the removal.
It should be noted that John Ridge was killed (stabbed 48 times, and then trampled) for signing the Treaty of New Echota, under Indian law (Law of the Snake) he had committed Treason.

In 1984, the dispute between Argentina and Chile over the sovereignty of the Beagle Channel was resolved through papal mediation. Pope John Paul II intervened to help both countries reach an agreement, which culminated in the Treaty of Peace and Friendship signed in 1984. This treaty defined the maritime boundaries and territorial rights in the region, effectively settling the longstanding territorial conflict between the two nations.
This is a question with out an answer. "Greatest" doesnt have a definition and the results will vary from opinion to opinion. Spoken of often in talks of the greatest QB of all time are usually a small group of players. In no specific order here is a list of what is believed to be the Best of the Best. Joe Monatana Dan Marino Johnny Unitas John Elway Brett Favre Tom Brady Peyton Manning As well as a few others. It becomes opinion since there is no clear definition of who is the best. Is it stats? Is it Championship rings? No one knows. So in the grand scheme of things this will go down as an mystery. (Unless Manning or Brady can win some more).
