One fim dealt with two literally ( fatally as it turns out) Lost Scuba divers- a man and a woman, presumably married. this was called OPEN WATER. a somewhat milder or impact-reduced treatment can be found in the movie Hand In Hand. This improbable tale deals with Juvenile romance between a Catholic Boy and a Jewish Girl. ( it would have made more sense if it was about an adult male Newspaper editor and a Girl Reporter- a similar film dealing with Jehovah"s Witnesses took that, mature tack- yes, we"ll take my Jaguar!) She is not seen in the film after being placed in an ambulance ( seems to suggest a DOA The ending is somewhat ambiguous. Film was made in l960 and released the following year. the girl fell overboard- not the guy. and he did summon the Emergency services!
