What was the conflict in clash of the titans?

This one is actually very simple, the titans were in a war with the gids afetr zeus saved them, the gods won and punished each titan. Some of the gods started to help the titans and freed kronos, thus they started fighting

Clash of the titans is based off of the Greek myth of Perseus. He was the son of Zues and a human queen. The old 1980s version of the movie is closer to the myth than either the 2010 remake or the Percy Jackson series for children.
