The history of the Titanic is so important because due to the devastating way it sank and the lost of more than 1.5 thousand people caused improvements in emergency escape plans, emergency equipment, and it began the creation of technology we call sonars and radars to detect items before they can be seen with the eye in order to avoid them in time
