In WW2 the French and Britain said they would declare war on Germany if they attacked Poland. When Nazi Germany invaded Poland France and Britain declared war on Germany. Then Germany stormed French.
When did England and France declare war on who? Please clarify.
The British were a part of the Anglo-Polish military alliance, an agreement between several countries, including England, France, and Poland. When the Germans invaded Poland in the fall of 1939, Great Britain gave the Germans an ultimatum to pull all of their troops out of Poland immediately, but Germany ignored them. A day later, Great Britain and France declared war on Germany, as they had agreed to do as part of the military alliance.
There are about 80 different scout associations in France. The closest to a founder in France would probably be Nicolas Benoit and Pierre de Coubertin who are credited with introducing the Scouting movement in France.
If the Munich Agreement hadn't been signed, then Hitler's Germany would have invaded and seized all of Czechoslovakia in October 1938. The Czechs would have resisted and a war between Germany & Czechoslovakia would have begun. No other country was in a position or motivated to help.
Germany was allowed 3/5 of France, including the whole Atlantic coast, and France would keep the rest. France would have to pay for the expenses produced by the German troops stationed in France, and would also have to deport all of the Jews to Germany
That would depend on where you are now. If you're in Germany near the border you could probably walk. If you're in Omaha it would cost a lot more
France would have died and fallen to Germany
France, Germany, and Poland
France brah
Alsace-Lorraine, which had been stripped from France by Germany in 1870, was returned. France took the industrial resources of the Saarland for 15 years. France would be able to make use of territory which had been taken from Germany. France became one of the beneficiaries of massive German reparation payments. Demilitarization of the Rhineland (a region of Germany next to its border with France) meant that France had the advantage if it was attacking Germany or if Germany attempted to attack France. France's safety was assured by the terms of the treaty as Germany would be militarily weak.
They said that they would declare war on Germany
The Schlieffen Plan, named after Alfred von Schlieffen, the general who created it. Understanding that a war (World War I) would probably happen soon and that it would involve Germany fighting against France and Russia at the same time, it was designed to attack France and defeat her quickly. The Russian army was very large but slow to mobilize, so it gave Germany time to fight France first.
France entered WWII because of a defensive pact woth Poland. Because Germany declared War on Poland, France declared war on Germany. If Germany had declared war on France first, then Poland would have declared war on germany. -Feewet
With respect, I don't understand this question. Please would you explain what you are getting at.
Germany, because it put the blame on them. Also Germany lost a lot of land, and weren't allowed to build up their military due to the treaty.
Probably because he will feel little to no guilt for what he has done. He most probably has little self respect.
