Loyalists were loyal to the British crown, they probably wouldn't have liked the patriots, but respected their need to defend their country and agreed that their sense was okay, but still thought they were supporting the wrong country.
You do what they tell you without arguing with them! Who in the right mind, would want to mess with police officers?!?! You would only do it if you were completely stupid and had no common sense built into your body when you were born... Bye.
France was a powerful ally to the Patriots, and since the Patriots were rather poor and inexperienced, i would say so :)
No, that would make no sense. The girl would be better travelling to the past to change her future.
Of course not. If they had really existed, they would have been just as infamous and a part of history as Bonnie and Clyde. Common sense?
Common sense is your normal native intelligence. It is also a pamphlet written by Thomas Paine in 1776 that flamed the fires of the American Revolution.using it when your using your headThings that you are not normally told but that people expect you to already know.
The loyalists were known for being loyal to King George III. They didn't agree with the Patriots. They thought that even if the Patriots won they would have no idea how to govern the colonies
The Patriots used several terms to refer to the loyalists. Loyalists were often refered to as Tories, King's Men, and Royalists.
Joining the Patriots would be preferable to joining the Loyalists for a number of reasons. Firstly, the Patriots were fighting for independence and the establishment of a democratic government, which aligns with principles of freedom and self-determination. Secondly, the Patriots were seen as more representative of the common people and their interests, while the Loyalists were often associated with a more elitist class. Lastly, joining the Patriots offered the opportunity to shape the future of a new nation, rather than remaining loyal to British rule.
The patriots disliked the loyalists because the loyalists belived that they should pay taxes in New England and the partiots belived that they should not have too. im doing this in history at the moment so i would know hope this helps!!
they didn't like each other because of their conflicting views. the patriots wanted to break away from the king and the loyalists wanted to stay with the king.
they believed the patriots would never win the war
half of it would have said it made sense and the other have would have said it made no sense at all like ethan abizadeh
Loyalists would then become either Patriots or they might not even bother to be on any side. This would defiantly make a big difference in the war. The Americans then would have more people to join their army in the fight against the British.
we would be left with lack of safety and protection why leave a prooven govement for one not tested
they believed the patriots would never win the war
There were a few reasons which led loyalists to flee Boston with the British. The British Parliament made promises of freedoms and money to some loyalists. Others were afraid that they would be attacked by the patriots if they stayed.
Loyalists were usually rich colonists and patriots were usually poorer colonists so they didn't treat each other fairly. Loyalists looked down upon Patriots as if they were happy with the king and Patriots needed freedom to get rid of all the British taxes. This caused a problem in the American Revolution because not all Americans were on the same side.
