sweeny todd is a myth which was about a man who was a barber and he killed people with his razor blade and built a chair which flips over to the under side of his shop. Across the road from his shop was a pie shop ran by someone called mrs lovett. sweeny and lovett built a tunnel leading to each others shop so that sweeny could kill the people and carry them to be skinned and made into pies by mrs lovett.

sweeny todd had lost his job because a judge fell in love with his wife ...so why /when he is in prison the judge basically comes on to his wife making her go crazy enough to drink poison which doesn't kill her but makes her even crazier.so he is taken by Anthony to London because Anthony found him in the middle of the ocean.so when he gets there he goes in to the meat pie shop run by mrs. lovett who tells him his wife is dead and that the judge has his daughter johanna.so sweeny goes and checks out the comp. of barbers and sees pirelli who knows sweeny is actually tom baker so sweeny has to (WELL NOT REALLY)kill him because he was going to blackmail sweeny .so then because they had met the judges assiatant the came in to get a shave but right when sweeny was about to kill the judge Anthony comes in who is in love with johanna who the judge is also in love with.!!!!!!!!!!! then they decide to use the dead bodies in the pies and keep pirellis assitant Toby !!! then he kills lots of people but then Anthony trys to go away with johanna but the judge figures out and puts her in an illuslum where Anthony goes and gets her from and sweeny knew all this so he told the judge because he wants him to come so he can kill him but right before he comes in a beggar lady comes in and says something weird so sweeny kills her then the judge but Toby finds out their killing every one so they lock him in the cooking room where then they come down and sweeny and mrs lovett look for Toby but don't find while their looking sweeny sees he killed his wife who lovett said waS dead so he pushes her in the oven and goes and holds his wife but then Toby comes out of the sewer and kills sweeny basically ms lovett loves sweeny who loves his wife who he thinks is dea who was loved by the judge who loves johanna who is in love with Anthony really just a messed up love story

Sweeney todd is an MA+ film about the main character-- (Sweeney todd-- Johny Depp) Seeking revenge after he got his child taken away from him and his wife (Lucy) Is technically 'dead', although the true fact that she is still alive is not found out until further on in the movie-- near the end. Close to the beginning, he meets Mrs. Lovett (Played by Helen BonHam Carter). Sweeney todd slits peoples throats after deciding in a melancholy song (Epiphany) That the world deserves to die-- not just the person that stole his daughter. (Judge Turpin). Mrs. Lovett makes them into pies after the deciding song-- (A little Priest). In the meantime, Anthony-- (Sweeny todd's friend) Who is currently unaware of what sweeney todd is doing, is trying to get Johana-- (Sweeney Todd's daughter), because he decides that he loves her, and wants to marry her. In the end, they get away together, and sweeney todd dies after throwing Mrs. Lovett into the bake-house oven after finding out that she lied to him about her wife being dead.

Its a good movie. I recommend you get it out if you see it in the video stores-- or even buy it.

Sweeney Todd's real name is Benjamin Barker. He has a wife named Lucy and a daughter named Johanna. There is a corrupt judge, Judge Turpin, who is in love with Lucy. The judge sentenced Benjamin to jail on false charges to get with Lucy. The movie starts with Benjamin returning to London with the alias of Sweeney Todd. He goes to his old shop, he is a barber, and he meets the owner of the pie shop, Mrs. Lovett. Mrs. Lovett tells Sweeney that the judge has raped his wife, stolen his daughter, and his wife has killed herself. What he doesn't know is that his wife didn't actually kill herself, she became a beggar. Sweeney decides to kill the people that wrongly sent him to jail. He vows to do this by giving them a "shave" and then killing them after by slitting their throats.

As all of this is happening the boy Sweeney was traveling with, Anthony, falls in love with Johanna and swears to free her from the judge's home.

While Sweeney is waiting for the judge to come so Sweeney can kill him Sweeney kills innocent people. Mrs. Lovett suggests that they make the people into pies. So from then on all the people they make into pies. The only person that figures out what is going on is Lucy but no one believes her because she is insane.

In the end Sweeney kills the people he wants to then he kills Lucy not knowing that she is his wife. He realizes that it is his wife right as she is dying. So he confronts Mrs. Lovett and pushes her into a furnace. Then he goes over and mourns his wife. Then Mrs. Lovett's worker, Toby, who thought of Mrs. Lovett as a mom, kills Sweeney Todd.

The only happy part about the movie is Anthony and Johanna run away together.
