It was not learned Maggie shot Mr. Burns until Part Two, the Season Seven premiere, so techincally she shot him in May 1995, but we didn't know that until September 1995.

Or it really could of been anyone because when homer attacks mr burns he might of got hair on his suit and then anyone could of shot him and maybe mr burns blamed Maggie to not fire smithers. and that gun in the car could of been grandpas gun. And W.S can stand for smithers full name, either smithers or Maggie could of done it and the south east is a whole matter of luck. I used the word "and" a lot it seems like.
