So Pakistan became the first country in the world who gained independence on the basis of ideology. Israel is now the only second one. Pakistan became an independent country on 14th August, 1947 and India on 15th of August. In 1971 Pakistan then divided again into Bangladesh and the present Pakistan. Kashmir is a disputed territory between he two countries whose affiliation between either of the country has yet to be decided.

Hindu's, Muslim's and Christians are working together in India and hold gov't posts. Hence India is secular from Hindustan.
