Well he does not actually die. After Ichigo uses the Final Getsuga Tensho on him Urahara seals Aizen away for 20,000 years.
This happens in episode 309 in the anime and chapter 420-421 in the manga

∙ 13y agoAizen kills halibel a little bit after wonderwiess shows up at the battle field. Wonderwiess saved halibel. He also saves barragan. He doesnt really save barragan. Soi fon had done her bankai and blasted barragan. Barragan Used his aging powers to decrease the power. There was a huge fire so noone could tell what happened. Wonderwiess Put out the fire. :)

Gin pretends to kill Rangiku because of Aizen's orders. Gin inserts a piece of his Zanpakutou's sword into Aizen, and destroys Aizen from the inside out, but the Hougyoku saves Aizen and he remains unharmed. Aizen kills Gin, and Rangiku finds his body, and is heartbroken.

Gin lies in the manga and says that those are his special abilities, but he inserts a piece of his zanpakutou in Aizen and his bankai destroys Aizen. But Aizen does not die (oh no!).
