When does the new series of Ashes to Ashes start?

According to Digital Spy it begins in March although others say it won't start until September this year. I spoke to Marshall Lancaster who plays Chris in ATA and LOM and they started filming in August so i would think it's going to start in March.

www.maccfans.co.uk During the end credits, the voice-over guy said it was due to start Spring of this year. The BBC have also confirmed this on their website. However, sometimes TV series do get delayed e.g Waterloo Road so it could be later.

Yep Definately A Third Series Cant Wait!!!!. There Might Not Be Another Show After Ashes To Ashes As Philip Glenister (Gene Hunt) Says He Is Getting A Bit Too Old For That Now. But He Also Said He Doesn't Want Anybody Else Playing Gene If He Did Decide Not To Play Him Any More. Also Alex Probably Wouldnt Be In Another Show If There Was One Because In The Third Series We Finally Learn How Drake's Journey Will Come To An End. So She More Than Likely Gets Back. Apparently The Third Series Will End With A Big Stunning Finale And I Have A Feeling That Gene Is The One Who Is Actually In A Coma In 2008 And Has Been In A Coma For 3 Years 2006-2007 And 2008 And He Is Dreaming That He Was Back In Time And Alex And Sam Are There Trying To Revive Him.
