No one knows when the witch is born in "The Wizard of Oz."
Specifically, no information on ages or dates is given in either the beloved 1939 film version or the original 1900 book edition of "The Wizard of Oz." Additionally, there is more than one witch in the story. But regardless of whether it is a question of four witches in the book and three in the film, the age or birth date of not one is revealed other than the description of the Wicked Witch of the West as being "old."
