It is rated PG-13 and deals with very mature themes. It's inadvisable to let an eight year old view it.
no!
It will be perfectly fine. I'm 11 and I feel fine with reading it (although I haven't yet my mom allowed it.)

I think that an 11 year old can read breaking dawn! it is perfectly fine for there age. the book is popular so they want to read it!
Most of the books can be read by 10 year olds but Breaking Dawn is not recommended since some parts are inappropriate.

I wouldn't recommend this book for 10 year olds, because there are a few sex scenes in the first few chapters. located in the section of the book Bella. anyways, if you skip that part, then it should be ok.
That's a little specific, don't you think? I don't think anybody knows yet, because they have only talked about the Eclipse movie, and haven't said anything at all (to my knowledge) about the Breaking Dawn movie.
I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be possible. Its not particularly dark or sadistic, but it does contain a few sex scenes which although they do not contain anything particularly graphic or highly imaginative, the child's parents should be aware of it.
I would not recommend it! In the book Edward and Bella go on their honeymoon and do what people do on honeymoons. Although, it does not go into extreme detail things are broken and Bella describes her lingerie that Alice packs. Bella also becomes pregnant. I would not recommend it!

I'm 12, and honestly it depends on wether of not you've had "the talk". You, as a parent, should skim through the book to see if it's appropriate according to your standards. Once you get past the questionable stuff, it's actually a very good book.
