Edvard Eriksen (1876 - 1959)

It is one of many sculptures in Copenhagen which were donated by Carl Jakobsen whose money stemmed from running the Carlsberg brewery. PS: You can still support the arts by drinking Carlsberg beer, since the parent fund finances museums and specific works of art ;-)

it"s in a harbor where ships go by (like Statue of Liberty in that sense) Denmark is a maritime country- and Hans Christian Anderson was Danish. So be it. Nice little Blonde from C-Yards! Something Charming, in the land of Denmark!
