However, the question is "When was Israel found", i.e. "When did the the person who discovered the land where Israel now stands do so?" -- The answer to this is that we have evidence that the first Homo sapiens crossed into Haifa roughly 100,000 years ago, but, of course, we have no idea the identity of the person who did this.
