Nobody - but nobody - knows yet...
"New Moon" hit the theaters on November 20, 2009, and - barring all the speculation - nobody knows when it'll be released on DVD. The best guess right now is that it will come out sometime in 2010.
Just for the record, it took a few months for Stephenie Meyers's previous movie - "Twilight" - to make the transition from movie screen to DVD: The movie came out on November 21, 2008, and the DVD was released March 20, 2009.
It appears that "New Moon" is following a similar pattern. The second movie in the saga was officially released November 20, 2009, approximately a year after the first movie, so if the pattern is the same, it's safe to assume the DVD may come out sometime around March 2010.
