Azelf is in Lake Valor but,you must have faced Dialga to find it.If you have used your masterball already then I would say you may want an Action Reply Chip or GameShark cheating device to get unlimited masterballs.If you do not have one,borrow one fro your friends.If you can't or none of your friends play Video Games or do not have a Action Reply Chip,do not despare.Try to stock up on as many different kinds of pokeballs and as many of them as possible.I would use the ball that gets stronger the longer the battle goes and save your game right before Fasing Azelf just incase you kill it or run out of pokeballs so you can just turn the game off.You can clone Azelf by putting it in the daycare center with a Ditto.Good luck.

∙ 8y agoIn Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, once you have defeated or caught Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina at the Spear Pillar, Azelf will appear at Lake Valor. You need Surf to reach the Valor Cavern.
In Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, once you have defeated or caught Groudon or Kyogre in the Cave of Origin and obtained the Eon Flute, you will be able to access Mirage Spots. One of these Mirage Spots is the Nameless Cavern, which you can access if you have at least 3 Pokémon on your team with maximum happiness. Azelf will appear in this place between 9:00pm and 3:59am (Mesprit appears from 4:00am to 7:59pm, and Uxie appears from 8:00pm to 8:59pm).

∙ 12y agoYou can find the Pokemon at the biggest lakes. They are; Lake verity, Lake Valor and Lake acuity. But you cant fly straight there, so fly to a near by town. If not there, you must complete more of the game, i.e defeat the elite four. Hope that helps ;D x

they will flee,but then pro.juniper asks you to find them over unova.

∙ 13y agoSadly, you cannot catch Azelf in normal Soul Silver gameplay. You can, however, trade it from a friend who caught it in a game in the Sinnoh region or you can use Action Replay.

you can not get manaphy in diamond, pearl, or platinum unless you use pal park, for uxie, azelf, and mespirit look at lake caves; mespirit will run away and rome sinno. get to half moon island for darkri but i do not know how to get there yet. hope this helps!
