The only one I have seen is the model 583.1450 these were a single shot bolt action made by high standard . It is almost identical to the 583 1401 wich was a repeater both models were available with polychokes, and offered in 20 gauge 16 gauge and 12 gauge. I own several of these guns both 1450 and 1401. However the single shot is quite scarce . Check gunshops gun shows and gun auction pages on the web. Any of the above can usually be purchased for 100. dollars or less. These are very nice old guns
The electric choke wire connects to the electric choke assembly on the carburetor. It's a round, black plastic assembly that is on the side of a STOCK carburetor. There SHOULD be a connection on the "HOT" side of the coil that lets you connect the choke wire.

Answer If you choke a smirf, the smirf will become purple because the smirf will not have enough oxygen in his body, the same as humans. Other Answer If you choke a smirf, the smirf will become red because blood vessels will be constricted, cooling down the blood and turning it a lighter color, like red.
he choke to death.
Yes- that is what the poly-choke is for.
These showed up on some of the JC Higgins pump shotguns (High Standard Flite Kings) in ABOUT the first half of the 1960s. You can check with the Lyman company for more exact information.
It is not recommended to shoot slugs with a power pack chock on a JC Higgins model.

NO!! A choke makes slugs dangerous. DO NOT fire slugs through ANY choke, ever. The life you save may be your own.

Not recommeded for the casual owner. Find a good gunsmith.
You don't give us the model, so it is hard to answer the question. Assuming the gun does not have an obvious adjustable choke, the choke is probably not easily adjustable. A gunsmith can open the choke (from Full to Modified for example) or can install internal interchangeable choke tubes (costs around $125).
Adds little to no value.
I paid $200.00 for what the gentleman told me was a 1950 .
The choke you use depends on your target rather than the type of shotgun. For example: if you are shooting skeet, you would use improved or modified cylinder, but if you are shooting trap, you would use full choke.
