After 30 years, he is tired, burned out, and has nothing to look forward to. He is doing the same thing Johnny Carson did, and taking off whenever the excuse arises as his last few years on the show before retiring. Craig Ferguson is being groomed, as you see he just got a larger, brand new studio. 08/31/12
No House of Payne was not cancel. THE show comes on every Wednesday night at 8:00 on tbs. it was canceled there our no more new episode's i record the show and all i see is reruns THE SHOW NEEDS TO BE CANCELLED BECAUSE IT SUCKS embarrassment to the black community. this show has the stereotypes of a black family. this show has the most dryest and un-original humor that i have ever seen. The Curtis Payne is the worst actor on the tv show. the shows laugh track is annoying as heck, the show needs to fire its current writers and hire some new ones.
You can watch it on Nickelodeon. They have been playing reruns of it almost everyday. Check your tv schedule to see when they are playing it again.
Most likely because there were not enough episodes made. CBS only shot 55 episodes over 3 (actually 2 and a half) seasons. To be viable, most shows in syndication need 100 episodes or else you see the same ones over and over too much. With just 55 episodes (excluding the USA version of the show) every 11 weeks it would recycle. So if cable channel plans for a one year run, people will not watch the same show five times. 1-2, maybe. But 5 in a year is pushing it. This is the same reason "Moonlighting" never seems to pop up on reruns.
youtube
