Titanic had two Grand Staircases- a forward and an aft.
The forward is the one most people think of, and went from the boat deck down to F-deck (7 decks). On the boat deck, it led to the outside area and the gymnasium, as well as some of the crew areas. On A-Deck, it led to the promonade areas. On C-Deck, it led to the purser and inquiry offices. On D-Deck, it led to the entryway where passengers boarded and (would have) departed. Also on this deck, it led to the first class dinning and reception room. On F-Deck, it led to the ship's Turkish baths, steam rooms, and swimming pool. On every deck, except boat deck and F-Deck, the stairs also led to passenger cabins.
The aft staircase went between A-Deck and C-Deck. On A-Deck it led to the smoking room. B-Deck led to the A-La Carte restaurant and the Cafe Perisian, and C-Deck led to the ship's barber shop. On every deck, again, the stairs also led to passenger cabins.
The Grand Staircase on Titanic (and Olympic) had twelve steps at the bottom.

The Titanic was equipped with several staircases to accommodate each class aboard the ship. First class had two grand staircases, one in the forward part of the ship and one towards the back; the forward grand staircase (which the most notable and recognized part of the ship) was located between the 1st and 2nd funnel and went down 5 decks, with four decks being of the ornate and elegant design and the last deck being a normal staircase leading to the Turkish baths and pool. The aft staircase was located between the 3rd and 4th funnel and went down three decks to C Deck where it landed on an onboard restaurant.
