The Hadia live cheifly on Queen Charlot island on the Northwest coast of Canada.

development of settlements in the west coast ..

so , the rich environment of the coastal region made it unecessary for the people to travel long distances in search of food. the haide people of queen charlotte islands began using dungout canoes to hunt sea mammals. with the adoption of a more"sedentary" way of life.. which means a stable life, not having to move so much, the haida people which were people from Siberia developed a complex political and economic structures, of labour , elaborate art and archietectuep ; and distinctive social institutions such as the "POTLACH"

which is like ceremonial events that happened.

so the HAIDA PEOPLE LIVED IN QUEEN CHARLOTE ! and how did they arrive here? welll they arived from siberia, through the beringia stream....

if you want to google it, it would make more sense to see the picture.

so the area of the west coast contained the most population density and the greatest diversity of language groups in canada. thanks to the haida people :)

so just remember...... haida people settled in THE WEST COAST OF North America.. in QUEEN CHARLOTE ISLADE.. which are islands right near British Columbia. and yukon.
