Where do kids go for jail?

Not ALL juvenile delinquents need to be jailed.It depends on the juveniles previous record. If they have a history of being delinquent then the judge will not JAIL them but they will send the juvenile to the proper placement. This could be a group home or rehabilitation facility. The difference between juveniles and adults is that adults are considered the need to be punished for their crime.Whereas a juvenile needs rehabilitation.If it is your first offense,the judge may give you a second chance or a more leniant program.Such as group therapy or juvenile prebation.Just know that this is to hopefully rehabilitate the juvenile so he/she could be more productive in their community and to prevent any future incidents with the juvenile.

not only because they're bad; but also because it all falls back on bad parenting. It all starts at home, that's where the seed of our heart is. If we spoil or beat or tease or teach bad things to that seed, it will most likely grow into something ugly and there will be an output to all that rage and anger of all those years which will most likely send them to jail. (not all cases)

Kids and Jail or PrisonAt the local level in small communities, it might be okay for kids to go to the local jail, though many communities have juvenile detention centers for kids.

For more serious offenses which require prison-type incarceration, kids should not be sent to adult prisons. Though kids should be taught that their actions have consequences, the goal should be to rehabilitate them. Mixing them with adult prisoners could be a hindrance to that goal.
