Harold and the author share a sense of imagination and a desire to explore the world around them, reflecting a childlike curiosity and creativity. Both exhibit an inclination toward storytelling and adventure, which fuels their personal growth. However, the key difference lies in their life experiences; while Harold's adventures are fictional and shaped by his imagination, the author's experiences are rooted in reality, influencing their perspective and understanding of life. This contrast highlights the balance between imaginative play and the complexities of real-world experiences.
A difference between fiction and drama is themanner in which they are used, pluswhen and where.Fiction is a solo experience, a relationship between the author and the reader. Drama is intended to be performed before an audience, either live or recorded.
When Harold is at the movie theatre on his own, he is watching 1983's Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. When Harold and Ana are watching a movie on TV at her place, they are watching the 1966 French film Un homme et une femme (in English: A Man and a Woman.) The story is about a man and a woman who meet by accident at their children's boarding school. Slowly they reveal themselves to each other, becoming friends, then close friends. Much of the film is told through actions or through hearing one of their thoughts as they go about their day. The irony is that this is how we experience much of Harold's existence, through the narration provided by the 'author' of his life.
They both write books
Pericles, Prince of Tyre. Although the Disney definition of "being based on" is "having some superficial similarity to which was not in the scriptwriter's mind at the time he wrote it but helps to give the film a false legitimacy by connecting it however tenuously to the work of a great author."
The author and the main girl charactor are the same people!
The only similarity I can think of is they both have to do with writing.
Harold Alfred Sandstrom has written: 'Between school hours'
Harold E. Himes has written: 'Between the Miamis' -- subject(s): History
Harold Lockyear has written: 'The Poetry of Harold Lockyear'
Harold Stephens - author - was born on 1926-12-03.
Nothing, the difference is in the author's style of writing
Harold Rubin has written: 'The Betsy'
Harold Kingsley has written: 'Kong'

Harold Gilman has written: '[Paintings]' 'Harold Gilman, 1876-1919'
