Several years before he died, J. M. Barrie gave the copyright to Peter and Wendy to Great Ormond Street Hospital, a children's hospital in London. Until the copyright expired, they received royalties for every book published. They still collect a special royalty in the UK.
Peter Pan was originally a play, so the biggest difference between that and Peter and Wendy is that the former is a play and the latter is a novel. :) The novel was published 7 years after the play, so there are some revisions to the story, things added, some left out, and some just told differently. The novel P&W was later published under the titles Peter Pan and Wendy and just plain Peter Pan. These are the same novel as P&W.

Peter Pan said ''one night I heard my mother and father talking and when I was a baby I became a man''. Then he found Tinkerbell and they ran off together to Neverland. Watch the movie Finding Neverland because that movie will tell you about the Author JM Barrie and the play Peter Pan By the way Johnny Depp plays JM Barrie in Finding Neverland I've seen it! Watch it now!!!!!!

Peter Pan is from Neverland. When I saw the movie that was made in 2003, I thought Peter Pan was cute and romantic. This is mt favorite movie ever made. I'm almost 13 and I love movies with alot of action like Peter Pan.
The novel that begins with the line "All children, except one, grew up" is "Peter Pan" by J.M. Barrie. It tells the story of Peter Pan, a mischievous boy who can fly and refuses to grow up, along with his adventures in Neverland with the Darling children.
