Source-Seine, a French village located 30 km (19 mi) northwest of Dijon is the source of the Seine river, hence the name of the village. On the site were discovered a great number of archeologic treasures, including a statue of Sequana (a female figure or goddess representing the river). All the archeologic discoveries are displayed in a museum in Dijon, the regional capital.
