u cant find a metagross.But u can find a beldum,which evolves into metang,then evolves into metagross.u can find a beldum in a pokeball in steven's house in mossdeep city.

oh, you want it's pokedex? You have to defeat the elite four. Go to route 224 (the zigzag route beside the league). If you don't know how to get there, this is how. Fly to the league building and go inside victory road. Go down and use rock climb. Don't jump down the cliff but go left and up. Go up the stair and follow the bridge and there will be a exit. Go thorugh the tunnel, get out and you'll reach it! Go up and up again and batte the ruin maniac standing by the tree. then you wil notice a hidden trainer behind a tree and she has a metagross. Be careful. Her metagross is lvl 56 and it knows psychic. If you want to get it,you have to migrate it from r/s/e. After you beat the elite 4 go to dawn's little sister in sangem town, if she says that there is a mass breakout of beldum you are in luck if not try again tomorrow and so on. If she does, go to the desert route above the resort area and run around in the grass until u find a beldum, catch it and evolve it into a metagross.There you go.

you can't catch it. After you beat the elite four... or some time after that... you go to Mossdeep city then walk into steven's house. He won't be there, but a pokeball will be on the desk. Pick it up, it will be the Pokemon beldum. You evolve it to metang, then metagross.
