When you go to snowpoint city, keep to the right going up and go in some guy's house. Talk to him. He will tell you that he has lost his HM rock climb it is in the snow behind his house; get it then talk to him, then he will give it to you.
All you have to do is defeat the gym leader in snowpoint city. She will say something about you being able to use rock climb out of battles (she means rock scale!). If you cant find your way to Snowpoint city, go in to mt.coronet (enter on the right side) the path with the boulder (which you will have to use strenth to move it.) head forward.( you will have to turn left once.Then go into the next part of the cave. go forward. do not go down any stairs. the just keep going because thats the way out. you will see snow and once you walk up to the two grunts(after walking up to the sqaure on the map) go left and you will fine our self in snowpiont city!hope this helps!! i recently found out and thoughtof helping someone! peace!

You can get the HM Rock Climb in Pallet Town at Professor Oak's lab. He will give it to you only after you have obtained the 8 Johto badges and 8 Kanto badges.
