Hi there, depends what you're looking for really. For a summer holiday I can recommend the Languedoc region as well as Provence, while for the winter season and skiing I can recommend the Alpes and Chamonix or La Plagne in particular.

There is no school on Bastille day in France. Firstly Bastille Day is on the 14th of July, so this is the Summer holiday period, and secondly It is a bank holiday and day off for working people.

My preference is Liskey Hill Holiday Park in Perranporth. Great for the family, surfing and walking. The accommodation is relatively cheap.
Tenerife is the best all around for families though the others are also good.
