The summit of Mount Kilimanjaro
South Africa is a country located within the continent of Africa, at the Southern tip of the continent, hence the name.
The only glaciers in Africa are on Mt. Kilimanjaro, though melting away rapidly.
Africa
evidence of glaciation in the Southern Hemisphere - during the ice ages
The show is currently on Season 6 & Lisa is working her way up to a permanent spot on the "heavy haulers".
Seasonal ice (Seasonal permafrost)

Places such as most of Antarctica are covered with a permanent layer of ice. In other places, ice only forms when the temperature drops below freezing. The ice formed when this happens in non-permanent ice because it is only temporary.
Not necessarily permanent
its not always there
Antarctica's ice sheet holds about 90% of the earth's store of permanent ice.
Because in water hydrogen bonding is not permanent due to random motion where as in ice it is permanent also in ice k.e.is also lower
Permafrost
verry cold permanent ice and snow no plant life
The Dutch immigrants arrived at the southern trip of the contiment. They built CApe Town, the first permanent European settlement in Africa.
No. Water freezing into ice is a good example of a "phase change". Ice can melt back into water, so we know that the phase change is not permanent!
I believe that Mt. Kilamajaro is in Africa somewhere, and given its height, being a mountain, it probably has snow all year round. Mount Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania, Africa, is Africa's highest mountain. Although it very close to the equator it is high enough that the temperature on the summit remains below freezing all year round. On top there is snow and small but permanent glacier of ice. Yep you can find it on Mount Kilimanjaro which is 19340 feet.
