Branch code 51001 is the IBT ( Inter Bank Transfer) Number of all Standard Bank Branches of South Africa. If you are transferring cash from a Std Bank Account to another Standard Bank account, you don't need the Branch code for the account to which you are making the EFT. The Money is transferred "internally" i.e. stays with Standard Bank, and isn't going to a different bank, so this code (51001) is " Standard Bank All Branches."

Hope this heps!

All The best.
