EDIT: not true.....Inuyasha can get through the well because of the necklace Kagome gave (or force rather)him and it made a link between them. And in the beginning of the series Kagome used to have to have shards to get through but due to the whole "shards get stolen every 5 seconds." Takahashi (the author) soon dropped it so kagome cna now go with or without the shards.
