He stared in 2 only. Both were TV Movies and classed as such. The Sign of Four (TV Movie) 1987

As my name makes apparent, I am a great fan of Robert DOwney Jr as am I his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes. I have heard the rumours of a sequel with none being confirmed as of yet, though it has been brought up so many times, I think it shall have one.
Most of the filmed episodes followed the original stories closely though some varied considerably. I believe there was one episode that combined two stories, but here is the list of stories not covered by the Grenada series: Study in Scarlet, Case of Identity, Five Orange Pips, Engineer's Thumb, Beryl Coronet, Yellow Face, Stockbroker's Clerk, Gloria Scott, The Reigate Squire, Black Peter, Three Students, Missing Three-Quarter, Valley of Fear, His Last Bow, Blanched Soldier, Three Garridebs, Lion's Mane, Veiled Lodger, and Retired Colourman.
