Abiotic factors of the desert are sand, sunlight, water, air, temperature, soil. The winds, scarcity of water, high temperature, heat and land covered with sand makes the habitat fit to those kinds of animals which can survive such extreme climatic conditions. Cloud cover and snow (in Antarctica, classified as the world's largest desert due to the lack of precipitation), sand hurricanes, blizzards, etc. are abiotic factors.
