Which team is better in Pokemon platinum Empoleon Garchomp staraptor luxray rapidash gliscor or change gliscor another Pokemon to beat the elite four?

Can a level 72 torterra 55 garchomp, 56 Palkia, 61 Lucario a 52 Bastiodon and level 57 Rapidash beat the Elite 4?
Im training all the level 60 under Pokemon to 58 or something near that..
Also, I can get up to Flint and sometimes Lucian without using any potions with only a couple of Pokemon fainting.

∙ 14y agoPersonally, the team i took through the elite four was: Luxray, Houndoom, Staraptor, Empoleon, Torterra, and Alakazam. Level-wise, they were in the early fifties, and i beat the elite four on my first visit but could not beat Cynthia. I did it a different way. I took my empoleon to lv80 and beat up the elite four and cynthia. the rest of my team didn't do much

∙ 13y agoIt depends on their levels, movesets, IVs, and to an extent their natures and EV spread, really.
Generally speaking, if they're in their low-to-mid 50s, you should do just fine as your team doesn't have any awful weaknesses to anything the Elite Four has to offer. Having a fire-type move user would help for the fourth member, however, and you'll want to make sure your Garchomp can hit fast and hard if you want to use its type advantage against the champion's Garchomp.

I would get a Fire Pokemon just in case. You could get Ponyta, Rapidash, or Flareon (you can get this by using a Fire Stone on an Eevee). You can't get Chimchar (evolves into Monferno, then Infernape) because you only get it at the beginning of the game where you can choose from Turtwig (evolves into Grotle and then Torterra) or Piplup (evolves into Prinplup, then Empoleon.)

No! It is not a good team. Because Garchomp and Rapidash could fall to a Lapras. Medicham could fall to a flying type and so would Roserade. And empoleon could fall to an electric type and also weavile would fall to a fire type.
