I can't answer that definitely, but I have noticed that Linda is no longer wearing her wedding ring on the air. That could mean anything, but it could also mean that she and her husband are splitsville. UPDATE: It would appear that the answer is yes. I just read a short article about Cohn's upcoming memoir, and the article mentions that her husband Stew is a major, "sympathetic" character in the book, and that he and Cohn are no longer together despite him being, in her words, her best friend. So she's available, guys! http://www.usatoday.com/sports/columnist/hiestand-tv/2008-07-02-cohn_memoir_N.htm
Terrestrial television in India started with the experimental telecast starting in Delhi on 15 September 1959 with a small transmitter and a makeshift studio. The regular daily transmission started in 1965 as a part of All India Radio. The television service was extended to Bombay (now Mumbai) and Amritsar in 1972. Up until 1975, only seven Indian cities had a television service and Doordarshan remained the sole provider of television in India. Television services were separated from radio in 1976. National telecasts were introduced in 1982. In the same year, colour TV was introduced in the Indian market. Indian small screen programming started off in the early 1980s. At that time there was only one national channel Doordarshan, which was government owned. The Ramayana and Mahabharata (both Indian mythological stories) were the first major television series produced.
From what I can find online, it looks like Sesame Street has been nominated for 13 Primetime Emmy Awards and has won 7 of them. All of their Primetime Emmy wins were between 1970 and 1976. In 1974, the Daytime Emmy was created and in 1976, Sesame Street won it's first Daytime Emmy. Between 1976 and 2011, Sesame Street has been nominated for 286 Daytime Emmys, winning 125 of them. This is almost 3.5 wins per year since 1976. In total, Sesame Street has been nominated for 299 Emmys and has won 132. I can't find any statistics online but I would assume they have the most Daytime Emmy wins and Combined Emmy wins of all time.
