Seeley Joseph Booth and Temperance Brennan are characters from the Fox TV show "Bones" played respectively by David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel.
Booth is an FBI agent and Brennan is an anthropologist who works at the Jeffersonia. Together they solve murder mysteries that involve bones and they have feelings for each other but booth isn't sure he should tell brennan how he feels yet.
In the 100th episode Booth takes the leap and dispite the fact that she loves him Brennan turns him down because she is afraid.

There are many points in the series where Booth saves Brennan. In The Two Bodies in the Lab, (Season 1, episode 15) Booth saves Bones when she is kidnapped by a fellow FBI agent, Kenton. This is just after he sustained major injuries from being in an explosion.In The Aliens in A Spaceship (Season 2, episode 9) Bones and Hodgins are kidnapped by the Gravedigger and buried alive in Brennan's car. Booth and the team work to find their location and save them. In the end, it is Booth who pulls Bones out of the sand where they are buried.Booth also saves Bones in The Wannabe in the Weeds(Season 3, episode 14) when his stalker, Pam tries to shoot Brennan, he steps in front of her to save her.In the Season 5 opener, Harbingers in the Fountain, Booth saves Brennan from a psychotic doctor who attacks her when she goes to question him alone. There are a number of times when they kiss. The first time is in Season 3 episode 10 where they kiss under the mistletoe because Caroline is feeling "puckish" and somehow Brennan's gum ends up in Booth's mouth. They kiss a lot in the last episode of season 4 but that is because Booth is having a dream that they are married. Edit by LiftedHops: They now also kiss in season 5 because it shows us a flashback of how Brennan and Booth first met and they kiss because Booth's superiors tell him to fire Brennan so they realise they can date because they no longer work together (they were under the influence of alcohol at the time) Also the end of that episode Booth declares his love for her and kisses her but Brennan pushes him away and says that she's a scientist and cannot change and has not the same open heart as Booth does. She is afraid that she cannot love him the way he wants.
