Hamlet. Osric says, "The King, sir, has laid, sir, that in a dozen passes between yourself and him he shall not exceed you three hits." The "him" and "he" is Laertes. This is a point-spread bet. The king is betting that in twelve exchanges Laertes will not have a score three or more higher than Hamlet's. If Laertes hits Hamlet three more times than Hamlet hits him, Laertes wins, if he only hits him two more times than Hamlet does, the King wins.
Laertes' reputation has given rise to these odds, but everyone seems to have underestimated Hamlet. Although the match ends after three exchanges, at that point the score is Hamlet 2, Laertes nil.
Ophelia might not have gone crazy, Laertes would not have come home to fight hamlet, and king Claudius might not have wanted to send hamlet away.

In Ophelia's grave.
Hamlet fought against Laertes, the brother of Ophelia and the son of Polonius. He was looking to kill Hamlet because of the deaths of Ophelia and Polonius. So, with Claudius, he plotted to have a fence match between the two of them.
Horatio is Hamlet's most trusted friend. Hamlet tells him everything about the ghost that he saw and the plans for revenge that he has against Claudius. Laertes is also one of Hamlet's friends but they fight during the play because of what Hamlet did to Ophelia and because Hamlet killed Polonius.
"Osric did not "get" Hamlet and Laertes to fight. He stood by as a referee in the duel between the two adversaries. He called out the "hits". They duelled because Laertes believed that Hamlet was responsible for the death of his sister Ophelia and wished to avenge it. This belief had been fostered by Claudius who saw a way of having Hamlet killed as he knew that Claudius had murdered his - Hamlet's - father." This is almost correct. Indeed Osric was not the cause of Hamlet and Laertes duel, the King was the one who came up with this idea because he found it the easiest way to have Hamlet killed without the suspect of foul play. But Laertes agreed to the duel not only because he believed Hamlet's madness caused Ophelia to also go mad ultimately killing her, he also dueled because of Hamlet's cold blooded murder of his father Polonius...just wanted to add that Polonius had two reasons for wanting to duel Hamlet.
Wherever in the Castle of Elsinore he had his fight with Laertes.

He gets into a fight with her brother Laertes, falls into her grave, and steps all over her dead body. Not a pretty sight.
