Dorothy kills the Wicked Witch of the East when the family farmhouse lands on her. She kills the Wicked Witch of the West by throwing a bucket of water on, and melting, her. In both cases, it's accidental death.
I don't think there was any murder in the story.
Dorothy's house falls on the Witch of the East, but that was an accident.
At the end, Dorothy throws water on the Wicker Witch of the West which melts her.
Since there was no intent to kill, the worst this could be considered is manslaughter.
I think it was the flying monkeys who started pulling the stuffing out of the Straw Man, which could be considered attempted murder.
Answer #1 Nessarose. Answer #2 The first witch to be killed in the original 1900 book edition, and the beloved 1939 film version, of The Wizard of Oz was the Wicked Witch of the East. Dorothy Gale's farmhouse and the Witch ended up in the same place, at the same time, in the beautiful, enchanted, magical lands of Oz. The result was fatal, terminal for the Witch. In the book and the movie, she had no name. But the later book 'Wicked', and the currently running play of the same name, gave her the name Nessarose Thropp.
