The first person to die in Final Destination is Tod Waggner. HE dies because he slips on water that had leaked from the toilet. When he slips, he is strangled on a wire in the shower that is used for hanging up clothes to dry. He tries to grab for some nose hair scissors but cannot reach them. Tod's parent think that he killed himself over guilt of leaving his brother on the plane.
