There was no "Space Shuttle" when Neil Armstrong launched, and he never flew
on one.
Armstrong was a member of the 3-man crew aboard Apollo 11, along with
Edwin Aldrin and Michael Collins, launched in July 1969. The three of them
together rode the Apollo command module to the vicinity of the moon, and
entered lunar orbit. Armstrong and Aldrin then climbed into the Lunar Excursion
Module (LEM), separated from the command module, and descended to the
lunar surface, where they became the first humans to walk on the surface of
the moon, while Collins continued to orbit the moon in the command module.
The Space Shuttle, which came 15 years later, was never capable of going
anywhere near the moon.
Edwin "Buz" Aldrin walked on the moon with Neil Armstrong.
Buzz Aldrin also walked on the moon, while Michael Collins orbited the moon above Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.
The Apollo 11 crew that travelled to the moon included Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Buzz Aldrin. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed the lunar module Eagle on the moon on July 20, 1969.
Then he would not be famous for being the first to walk on the moon. Someone else would be.
He built a really, really long staircase from Ohio to the moon, then after he came back he burned it so no one else could go except for him. its a sad story but its a good one
it is about are first mission to the moon that was succesfull
There is no atmosphere on the moon to carry sound. He would have heard his radio, and he'd have heard all the sounds he was making as he moved about in his suit, but nothing else. Nothing from outside. To correct you, there is a slight atmosphere on the moon, although smaller than the one on earth. also if this did happen it is a miracle of god, who can easily make something impossible happen.
Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon, while Michael Collins orbited overhead.

There was also Michael Collins, the Command Module pilot.
Nope. Neil Armstrong was the FIRST person on the Moon.
Yes. A lot of people went into space before Neil Armstrong; he would be known as 'the first person in space' otherwise.
I'm sure he did, in the astronaut corps if nowhere else.
a distinct lack of gravity
Yes. Buzz Aldrin,or otherwise called Edwin Aldrin!
Neil Armstrong was commander lunar module pilot was Edwin buzz Aldrin and commander module pilot was Michal Collins if u need anything else then go to Sophie Ellie Anna May 5 secs and u get the answer
He was a teacher and I'm right shut up haters
Then he would not be famous for being the first to walk on the moon. Someone else would be.
Michael Collins was the Apollo 11 Command Module pilot and stayed in orbit when Armstrong and Aldrin went down to explore the lunar surface on July 20, 1969. Each of the six Apollo landing missions (11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17) had one astronaut staying with the main craft and two astronauts taking the LEM (Lunar Excursion Module) to the surface and back.
