Joint session of indian parliament can be called by the president, if:A bill passed by one house is rejected by other.The amendments made by the other house are not acceptable to the house where the bill originated.A bill remains pending un-passed for more than 6 months.Joint session is presided by the speaker of lok sabha or in his absence by the deputy speaker of lok sabha and in his absence also by the deputy chairman of Rajya sabha
An ordinary bill requires majority of more than 50% of voting members in both houses. A constitutional ammendment bill require special majority i.e., more than 50% of the total members of that house and 2/3 of the members the present voting members.
Any bill relating to income and expenditure is called a money bill.
