The first practical vacuum cleaner was invented by Hubert Cecil Booth in 1901, during the Victorian era. He introduced a motorized device that used suction to clean carpets and upholstery. Booth's invention was initially large and required a horse-drawn carriage to transport it, but it laid the groundwork for the development of more compact and user-friendly vacuum cleaners in the years that followed.

Is shake down safe for vacuum cleaners?

Assuming "shake down" is the name of a powdered carpet cleaner scattered down and vacumed up later. Then., it is safe however, if the vacum is of the bag type , the bag helps filter out the poder for disposal. If the vacume is "bagless" then the chances are that the poder can clog the vacum filters which then need to be replaced.

How is it possible for automatic transmission fluid to mix into the engines motor oil if not done intentionally 1995 Aerostar?

there is a vacum hose that attaches to the transmission. The vacum hose comes directly from engine vacum (as all vacum hoses are) If the valve on the transmission somehow gets old and simply breaks, then a small amount can be sucked up by engine vacum down the vacum hose and into engine compartment. I thought it virtually impossible until it happened to me.
