Fox News is often perceived as having a conservative bias, aligning with right-leaning viewpoints and political ideologies. This bias is reflected in its choice of topics, framing of stories, and the opinions expressed by its hosts and commentators. Critics argue that this slant can impact the network's coverage of issues, favoring Republican perspectives while often challenging liberal viewpoints. Nonetheless, supporters of the network view it as a necessary counterbalance to what they see as a liberal bias in other media outlets.
Oh, yes. Very.
currently it is considered "news" but in my humble opinion it has a clear political bias and should more likely considered "comedy"
No, not at all. The network is identifiably conservative, and is known as the media arm of the Republican Party. But Fox came up with an excellent positioning strategy, playing up the belief of conservatives that the media are all liberal (they are not... they are generally corporate) and offering an alternative to the supposed bias of other stations. Of course, critics would say Fox substituted one bias (a conservative bias) for another. But that is not the point. Since it went on the air, Fox News has become highly-rated and profitable, as well as very effective at promoting the Republican perspective on most major issues. Fox does have several very well-respected news anchors who are fair to the facts-- Bret Baier and Shep Smith-- but as a whole, Fox News does not try to hide its pro-conservative bias, nor should it have to. It is what it is, and it has carved out a very successful niche.
There are news stations on every end of the political spectrum. Many news stations deliver a left-leaning bias. There is a whole list of major news agencies and which way they lean, as far as political bias, at Politic Nation .com.
Fox News is part of Rupert Murdoch's News Corp.

All news agencies have political and social bias, to varying degrees. Fox has historically been a right wing, conservative channel. You might find it interesting that, based on ratings, they are not the most biased company when compared to other popular news stations. Politic Nation tracks their most recent articles and has them listed as 22% conservative.
Yes they do. Ever more on display since the Obama election... ________ It depends upon the owner of the media outlet. Some have a very distinct liberal bias, some have a conservative bias. An excellent example of this is Fox news. Fox is notorious for it's right wing bias. ________ And MSNBC is ten times more liberally biased. Yes, sadly most media outlets do :(
