Addaperle is the Good Witch of the North. Not much is known about her, however, in the novel 'The Wiz', she is more like a sideshow act because she is bad at magic. All the citizens of the North love her though. She also refers to Glinda as her sister when she tells Dorothy of the remaining three witches saying : "That leaves only three witches in Oz. Me, the Good Witch of the North; My sister Glinda, the Good Witch of the South--you outta see her act, honey; and the Wicked Witch of the West, Evillene." That is all wrong, Addaperle in the wiz is a funny, show biz girl the muchkins in Oz LOVE her and really like being with her. She's a great charecter!!!
