If your talking about the movie, it is about a penguin named Mumble who has "happy feet," or in other words, loves to tap dance (he says his feet are "happy"). In the emperor penguin colony, you must know how to sing in order to find a mate, and Mumble does not know how to sing, only dance, causing him to be an out-cast. The movie was released in 2006, and has received an Oscar for best animated movie in 2007.

He has been through three surgeries after swallowing six pounds of sand. He was released back into the ocean, and is on his own finding his way back to Antarctica. They named him "Happy Feet" after the 2006 movie, in which the same events (besides the surgery) happen to Mumble the penguin.
