It's the end of Sonny's first year at So Random so the cast throws a party for her where she gets a cake stating "Sonny Munroe is a phony." Tween Weekly does a story on it and a letter that was sent in to them and makes people suspicious of Sonny. Chad tries to make her feel better by telling her her can fly her to Wisconsin to fire a cheese cannon, (an honor in her hometown,) a decision that he makes by using a fortune cookie. (He uses a fortune cookie to make major decisions) He then gets Penelope (a Mackenzie Falls character) and Sonny to go shopping together. Tawni gets upset and comes along with them too. Then Sonny gets accused of stealing a necklace and ends up almost going to jail, which Chad bails her out of. She tries to get Ryan, (the Tween Weekly reporter) the truth, but Grady and Nico, (who are trying to help, along with Tawni) find a coin they found before that they thought they lost in Sonny's pocket on live TV. Then Ryan does a story on her stealing the Sicky Vicky sketch and gets kicked off So Random until she can clear her name. Chad then visits her disguised as a Chinese food delivery guy and tries to get the reporters outside her house to leave her alone. Ryan asks if his fortune cookie told him that, and he becomes annoyed with Sonny. She ends up going to Wisconsin with Tawni, the only person left who believes in her. While they are there, Zora comes back from a Sherlock Homes convention and tries to clear Sonny's name, and ends up blaming it on Tawni. After finding a paper on how to build a cheese ball bomb on Tawni's dressing table and eating most of the real cheese ball, they go try to save Sonny using Chad's private jet. While on the plane they find out that Penelope was the captain of the plane and was the one who was trying to get rid of Sonny and is in love with Chad. She tells Chad that if he goes with her he'll live, but chooses Sonny instead. The people on the plane are okay, and Sonny ends up going with a cop to the Cheese cannon firing. They then realize Sonny still has the bomb. Meanwhile, the Sicky Vicky person who claims that Sonny stole that sketch from her is going to fire the cannon, but then tells Sonny she can do it instead. The rest of the gang, (aka Tawni, Chad, Nico, and Grady) get there just in time to stop the bomb from exploding and catch Penelope as Sicky Vicky. Then Sonny fires the real cheese ball that flies out of the cannon and hits Ryan. The end.
