Matt Roloff was an Ewok in a movie production. At one point he had a picture of himself in an Ewok costume on his personal webpage.

Inexplicably, asking him about that photo was not okay in his eyes. Even though it was on his personal web page, Matt asserted that asking him about the experience indicated a form of discrimination related to a disability. (This is from Matt's statements related to a discrimination complaint he filed against a former employer. See related links.)

It just goes to show that there is a lot to learn on all sides. If the photo is on a social networking timeline or home page - a lot of those posters still consider those images private...even though they have been posted for the world to see.

The best take away is this: If you do not want to talk about it, do not post about it on your social networks or personal web pages... people will assume it is up for discussion because it is out there for public consumption.
