Crispin Glover only appeared in "Back to the Future" (1985).
He turned down the chance to play George McFly in "Back to the Future Part II" (1989). The producers hired another actor to essentially pretend to be Glover. Glover sued and won. The case prompted the Screen Actors Guild to create new regulations for using an actor's image.

∙ 10y agoHe tells people the studio was only going to pay him half the money the other leading stars were getting- so he decided not to be in it as that would have been an insult to him.
