Edit: The prime minister has no actual power in his office unlike the US president, he is merely the front figure of the currently ruling party. (or as currently coalition of parties)

However, he has delegated the authority of running the nation to 'Regeringen', the government of Sweden, which is led by the 'Statsminister', the State Minister, which post, at this time, december 2013, is held by Fredrik Reinfeldt.
