Who sings the theme song for the lion king?

This question is rather vague, but I'll give it my best shot. If you're referring to the chant/yell at the very beginning of the movie, that was sung by Lebo M, a native of South Africa. He lead the African chorus that you hear in the background of many of the songs throughout the movie.

If you're asking about the individual characters, here are the only ones I could find (NOTE: These are not the same as their speaking voices):

- Simba = Jason Weaver

- Scar = Jim Cummings (who voiced Ed)

Jason Weaver does the singing voice of young Simba in The Lion King while Joseph Williams does the singing voice of adult Simba. In The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, Cam Clarke sings as Simba heard in "We are One". Evan Saucedo sings as young Simba in "The Morning Report" seen only on the Special Edition version of the original film.
